We expect nothing more from our puppy parents, but also nothing less than what is described in the above quote by an unknown author. These words sum up exactly what we believe every new or experienced dog and animal owner owes to the creature entrusted to them. In other words, it means taking responsibility.
And that starts the moment you start thinking about adopting an animal.
When one of our Whippet children moves into your life, it is important to keep the promise. And this over a hopefully long and happy journey together.
As equally responsible and aware breeders, we are happy to accompany you the entire way. From the first contact, through the final selection and gladly further in later everyday life. We made our promise to the puppies when we were planning the litter: to breed only with healthy whippets with perfect character is our basis, beauty and performance are the freestyle, and a home that fulfills the above promise is the crowning glory.
If you are willing to make and fulfill this promise, please do not hesitate to contact us. In a first conversation we look together where "the journey can go". What follows next is an on-site appointment with us to get to know each other and the dogs better. This personal meeting gives everyone involved a good first impression of which puppies/prospective couples could fit and how things will continue in a specific case.
And that's what you can expect from us: the puppies are born in our house and have full family connections. You get to know people of different ages, genders, looks and appearance. Big dogs, small dogs, cats, horses, chickens, these encounters are also on our program. Just like driving a car and public transport, getting a breath of fresh air on the racetrack, city and country life. Vet visits, claw, tooth and body care are also practiced.
On our property, the little ones have a huge range of freewheeling facilities with the appropriate equipment for romping and playing, so that they can develop in a physically and mentally healthy manner appropriate to their age.
We respect the nature of the whippet and want to support and encourage it from the start.
